The museum shop has a wide range of books, CD's and information of the history of the area.
There is also has a wide variety of interesting and unusual souvenirs and gifts.
Crafts which reflect the history and culture of the area are available in the shop.
A new and exciting addition is the opening of the Afritan outlet at the Museum Shop. "Proudly made in Dundee" the Nguni hides are treated in the tannery and then turned into a wonderful variety of beautiful hide and leather goods. Floor rugs, cushion covers, place mats, handbags, leather belts, traditional Zulu clothing and shields are all available at Talana Museum.
Another addition to the Musuem Shop in Mlaba Curios. Sally Yardley stocks an interesting and unique range of specially manufactured items to commemorate the battle of Rorkes Drift - golf shirts, keyrings, magnets, leather wallets, leather knife holders, historic prints and a whole lot more.
Items can be ordered through the museum so send us a request, particularly for books, and if we have it in stock we can post it to you.
The Musuem Shop is open 7 days a week.
9:00 - 16:00 on weekdays
10:00- 16:00 on weekends and pubic holidays.
